what I don't understand is why there are so many advanced and hi-tech looking games on iphone, and everything on android is super simple and..... cheap/childish. why no releases for more expensive/complex games?

Graphics wise the best game I've played (and been interested enough to download) so far is Carrom3D. It contains Pool and Snooker. Its still in development but its getting there. Graphics look nice and smooth and its a 'proper' game, none of this childish stuff.

Also check out Real Football 2010, I've heard that's decent...

So, the potential is there, just needs to be tapped in to.
