Hi there,

just got my i7500 upgraded to GAOSP beta 3 and found it slow down the phone esp when with the live wallpaper working behind. is there a way to speed it up?

also, does anyone know how the 3 short cut at the bottom of the screen work?
it used to be "dial pad, main menu and explorer" but it suddenly changed to galley in stead of dial pad.
how do i change it back ?

thanks !

ok, the 2nd problem solved.

I tried the live wallpapers but the Galaxy really isn't the phone for that. I wouldn't use them daily at all.

You could try overclocking, although it won't make the phone much snappier. ;)

It just has to little RAM in it, also it's graphic chip isn't something spectacular. And like DaSchmarotzer sad the processor is weak in comparison with later units.
But the real reason for that is RAM and graphic chip, while processor isn't "so" important here. Don't forget that smartphones are something similar to miniature PC's and like in any PC with to little RAM, it just struggles to work fluidly until you put in it more RAM. To bad we can't do that here in this situation. :(
