GB bug with composing SMS and Email

Hi All,
I recently flashed the non-OTA "official" update for Gingerbread. So far I am loving it except for one small issue: when I am composing emails and SMS, my phone now tries to autocomplete sentences without me telling me too. An example would be when I type the word "No" and then hit the space twice to try and add a period and all of a sudden it will say "No dude I". There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why/when it will add extra words(often unrelated) to my SMS and emails. Is anyone else having this problem? If so do you know how to stop it?

easy fix

go to Settings --> Language & keyboard --> Multi-touch keyboard --> scroll down to Next word prediction

uncheck that box
