Help GB Calendar

The calendar, for me, is one of the apps I make the most use out of on my DX.

Prior to GB - I was able to get all new calendar entries that I entered on my phone to show up as 'Home Calendar' entries within my Google account, which would sync to my Google flawlessly.

Now, on GB, all entries put in on my phone go to 'Phone Calendar' - which I do not know how to change it back, nor do I know how to simply make the 'Phone Calendar' [visible, synced] - like the Google 'Home Calendar' says next to it.

I hope you guys are able to understand the explanation and can help me out here..I need to be able to have my calendar sync across all of my devices!

TIA!

When you create an even you can set it to your gmail account calendar vs. the phone calendar at the top most drop down. Don't see how to change it once it's in there. Moving to support and troubleshooting as well.

would they really put out a software update in which you couldn't go back and switch which calendar an item was saved to? I only have one calendar that I'd like to use right now; however, i'm sure there are people that have several - that's weak.

also, is there any way to set a certain calendar as default (other than 'Phone Calendar') so that I do not have to click that drop-down menu every single time I enter an item?

I'm not seeing anything to set it as default. And the only work around for getting the event on your gmail calendar is long. Other than re-adding the even. You could share it through gmail to your account then in Gmail there will be an option to add it to your calendar.

I use Jorte which I really love - much better than the stock calendar app! I recommend you check it out! :)

I just looked up Jorte - looks great - however, immediately came across a ton of reviews stating that synchronization doesn't work correctly and workarounds that might work, etc.

I don't dislike the Stock Calendar - I just want it to work like it used to!

I bought Calengoo based on the great reviews, and I thought it sucked. Then I tried Jorte, and I haven't looked back. I'm using my Google calender, not my phone calender, and I've had no sync problems whatsoever personally.

However, I could swear I used to have my contacts' birthdays on it as well. Might be because once I updated to GB, I stopped using Verizon's Backup Assistant and contacts, and rely completely on my Google contacts, so they no longer add birthdays to the calender.
