GBoard

[agpthng]

I watched a video on tips on the Pixel XL. It mentioned how you could search within the keyboard by tapping the G. I don't have that on my keyboard. I've gone into the settings I see it there under languages and input but not when I'm using say text. Does it only show on certain apps? Is it not available yet?

You should be able to enable the G button in settings
Settings/Languages & input / Virtual Keyboard / GBoard / Search / enable the toggle

I did that and the keyboard comes up with a magnifying glass/search but not a G
