GDE issues

Bought this last night and I just returned it. Is anyone else having issues? I'm getting black screens that take forever to laod up and FC's all over the place. Anyone know when it will be fixed?
 
Wow. I didn't know it was broken. :P

I've been using this for two or three weeks now on a droid, and have not had any problems. As a matter of fact, I rather like it.

What are you using it on? I wonder if there may be another app you have running that it doesn't like...? Have you gotten in touch with the developer?

Hmmm. pretty sure its a common problem now with the new version that just came out. I just read all of the comments in the market on the GDE page and everyone is having problems.
I use handcent and advanced task killer and those are really my only apps that run in the background.
Haven't contacted the Dev, now I don't think I will since its a common problem it seems like.
hmmm. weird that everyone isnt having this problem though :/. Maybe Ill just buy it back. I guess itll be fixed soon :)

OOoo. Are you Android 2.0, or have you been upgraded? 'Cause I'm not upgraded yet.
 
I also just purchased GDE last night as well. Not a single problem out of it. Actually seems to be working smoother and less laggy on my Moment than AHome did...

I do not have ATK or Handcent installed.
 
There are two task killers with similar "advanced" names. One has a blue icon; the other, green. I found that the blue icon app was causing grief on my Droid. When I removed it, and replaced it with the green icon app, my Droid and GDE became best friends. No problems since.
 
The only time I have had that problem was with a GDE theme that I installed. removed the theme and all was well. It was just 1 theme in particular that caused it. Other themes work fine
 
Weird that you all aren't having issues. I'm using the green task killer. No themes. Ill make a video and show yall. Ill start a new thread and Ill ask some other questions with the video too.
