Gear 2 text template problem

I just noticed that when I respond to text messages via Gear's text templates, my response doesn't show up on the stock Messaging app on the phone. However, the recipient does indeed receive my template response. Is anyone else having this problem?

I don't seem to have that problem... this is how gear manager is set up btw, maybe that'll help.

My notifications are working fine. My problem is when I reply to a text message via the Gear 2, my response does not show up on my phone Message app.

For example:
My Gear 2 notifies me that my friend text me "What are you up to?".
I reply to the text from my Gear 2 saying "I'm in a meeting."
My friend replies back saying "Ok, hit me up when you are done."

When I open the stock Messaging app and go to my conversation thread between my friend and me, all is see is:

Friend: What are you up to?
Friend: Ok, hit me up when you are done.

Thanks! Saved me the hassle of troubleshooting my rooted and heavily debloated phone. Unless your phone is also rooted and heavily debloated?

I tried it out today (responding via canned response) & it showed up in my stock messaging app... but my S5 is not rooted.

...yet. lol


Did it ever fix itself? Or do you just ignore it?
