This app is part of the indie sale going on right now on the Play Store. I decided to give it a try and don't regret it at all. If you are a fan of side scrollers, you're going to love this. The graphics are fantastic, the game runs smooth as hell (no hiccups) and it features leaderboards and achievements so you can challenge your friends on G+. Now what might piss some people off is that this game is pretty hard (some people actually gave bad reviews because of this). It's very rare to finish a level without dying and it can be a bit frustrating (you'll see what i mean when you're on the second level). Check it out while it's still on sale.

What are the controls like? A lot of the complaints I'm seeing are about the controls themselves. Saying that they are not precise, making it difficult to time jumps properly.

Does it have those controls where it displays conventional control buttons like a D-pad, A and B buttons on the screen? I hate those, fingers always wonder off the buttons.

There are two main buttons on the left and right (roll and jump) and then there is a smaller button on top of the jump button (for slow motion).
