I just got this watch a few days ago and I am certain I was able to respond to texts with simple canned messages (ok, thanks, etc...).
I am certain I saw a reply option on the actual notification too.
Now, however, when I get a text, the notification only shows "mark as read". When I click on the notification to open the text, I click on reply, it says "check your phone". What gives?
