gear stopped giving notifications

ok so all of a sudden my gear stopped receiving notifications. When I go into gear manager on the phone it shows notifications turned off. When I tick it back to notifications on it lets me pick my apps again. then when I back out of the screen it shuts back off. Any ideas?

Hmm maybe try and wipe data from the galaxy gear app in your phone's settings or even uninstalling and then reinstalling gear manager.
