Gear VR bundle and netflix...

Theres people on the XDA forum that submitted on march 11 and got theirs today. They are on verizon. I submitted my march 10th from att and have fullfillment pending

Hmm... thats disturbing.. I wonder why they got theirs so fast.
Edit: oh I submitted mind on the 12th. I guess maybe they just got really lucky? That doesn't seem fair though.

I'm with Verizon as well but still stuck with Pending. And still haven't heard back from Support. :/

So... i got another reply from support! Its clear to me that they are not reading what I sent them, as they sent me the exact same reply as the first one! So i guess its just computers or something sending generic replies. :/

I'm on Verizon and I just received an email from Samsung stating that my submission has been approved, with a ship date of April 1.

Just received email that I was approved. So I checked the website since I submitted two (BOGO offer) and saw that the second one will come in May. This means the second one I won't be able to get the 6 free games on because it will be after the deadline. :(

In the email it has my Netflix code but only one code. BOGO submission didn't come in another email so it looks like I only have one free year of Netflix.

You're not going to lose out on the software bundle! The e-mail clearly states:

Please make sure to create an Oculus account and download your 6 games before 11:59:59pm PT on 4/20/16 when the download expires, or within 30 days of receiving your Eligible Product, whichever is later.

Great news. Mines was approved. Here is what Samsung said.

"Submission Approved. Preparing for Shipment.Shipping Date estimate: 4/1/2016"

Woooo i stopped checking since i dont have internet at my new house yet. I got approved 2 days ago also!
Although it says the estimated shippung date is April 30th! Got lots of time to wait lol..
So glad they are giving us 30 days after receiving for the games.
I would like to think it is because I kept asking them how it will work out. Lol but I know better. So great to see everyone getting approved!
Now I just have to hope it gets delivered to the right house (havent gotten any packages delivered properly yet. They have showed up at the neighbors. )

As an update I received both emails from Samsung that my submissions have been approved. That means I got both Netflix codes. That's $240 off my subscription which will last me over two years.

Still haven't received any VR headsets even though others who have April 1st as their ship date already received one. Patiently waiting.

Got mine today, set up the Oculus acct, connected phone and that started the install app process. Didn't see the part that according to the intructions says "Six titles will appear with a "Download" option." Anyone else with ideas?
thanks.

I got my Netflix code already and my Gear VR is arriving this Thursday which i'm super stoked about. And I was reading about a Paranormal Activity game which is coming this Summer which is probably going to scar me for life. Can't wait!!

Mine came today!! I wasn't even expecting it. It just showed up on my doorstep. Haven't tried it out yet as I am still installing the software.

I just read that the NCAA March Madness Final Four and Championship games are going to be presented in VR format through their app! That seems really cool. I only wish I could watch the games after they happened because I'm going to be working when the games are going to be on.

I rec'd my VR yesterday. Its funny though, I rec'd the email from Samsung yesterday around noon about my tracking number and few hrs. later when i was leaving the house, there was a package on my porch. My first thought was noway, so I took my time and opened it later, and boy was I surprised. Right now, my only complaints is that most of the good apps are pretty big in size and can't be moved to SD card. Also, I was using my blue tooth head phone for the audio for about 45 min. of just watching stuff and my phone got over heated to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. (It only took like 5 min for it to cool down to 85 degrees though.)

Found the answer to get the game bundle.. this was posted on the Oculus forum..

1. Sign out of Oculus App (as in log out of your account).
2. Go into the application Manager and for each Oculus App running (there are 3 I believe).
a. Do a Force Stop.
b. Clear the Cache
c. Clear the Data.
3. Go back into the Oculus App
4. Sign into your account.
5. Oculus Bundle shows up, click download all, enjoy.

it worked for me.

I got my first 1 of 2 VR yesterday even though I had a much later estimated date. I haven't had time to use it much, but in the time I did I noticed it can make the phone hot. I didn't see anything concerning yet.
It does drain the battery fast though.

Same here with the phone getting hot. I let my daughter use it for about 45 min. playing some of the VR games and it shut down the VR mode when it hit something like 108 degrees F. I was using the power cord as well. (It only took like 5 min to cool down to around 95 degrees F though). I'm still doing some testing as to how long I can really use it. I will report back as to my findings.
