this is the real google launcher from kitkat and works on this phone. i had to delete the old search apk from /data/app and replace it with this file com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-3.2.16.1006154.arm.apk | by Android Police for Generic Device then click it to install it. and the launcher apk installs with no problem. com.google.android.launcher-0.9.6.886092.apk | by Android Police for Generic Device
voice search works also. when you say ok google it starts voice search.
