I got this based on a recommendation on one of several sites I've trawled for decent games on Android. It's a great little resource management game. You play as a dwarf who mines for ores to sell in the mine shop. The shop also sells consumable and non-consumable resources you need in order to keep mining - ladders, supports (which stop cave-ins), better lamps etc.
As is typical of mining games (Terraria, Minecraft etc.), the deeper you go in the mine, the better loot you find. Exploring underground is a lot of fun and getting back home before your health runs out is sometimes a challenge.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has played either the straightforward upgrade or Gem Miner 2, both of which are about 1.50. I will probably get both at some point, but I'm waiting on an SD card before I go app-shopping.
