Can we have a thread like this at this level. There are many root-related topics that are NOT variant specific. Please mods, don't move or delete. A sticky would be nice. (I've seen similar variant-independent root threads in other device forums. We can refer to the relevant variant forum if such a topic or sol'n arises here.)
