Generating your own QR Code - Help Please

Hello Everyone:

Forgive my ignorance on this. I understand what QR Codes are and can scan them. QR Droid is currently installed on my Incredible. But for some reason, I cannot generate a QR Code for myself (Business Card). I am listed in my contacts on my Android 2.2, but when looking for my contact listed name, it does not show up in QR Droid so I can generate a QR Code. What am I doing wrong?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

I would suggest you use the app Barcode Scanner.

It's open source and created by some Google employees and likely the code behind much of QR Droid.
