Genesis isn't working

So, I've recently purchased a new fire stick and successfully installed Kodi (XBMC) on it.
However, when I install the Genesis addon everything looks great but I cannot access any of the folders., can anyone point me in the right direction to fixing this?

As of 24th Jan this year the addon was no longer being supported.
