Geolocation issues with v7?

I'm finding I can't get geolocated with apps like HD Widgets and Beautiful Widgets for weather on v7 (ICS) stock.

I have both Google and verizon location activated but even when I add gps, neither can find me.

Actually, I tried to get rough geolocation in maps and it couldn't find me either.

Anyone else encounter this and/or have a solution?

I had a similar experience after first updating to ICS, my location-based widgets weren't "finding me" and the Google mobile home page could not find my location either. Typically I wouldn't need to use the GPS for these services in the past, the Verizon and Google location services were sufficient.

I simply rebooted my phone last night and the issue has not returned since; I'll keep an eye on it.

Looks like that did the trick. The Google geolocation authorization needed to display and me accept it, which is odd... That usually pops up during set up.

Exactly! I don't recall seeing that authorization during set up either. Regardless, I think you should be good-to-go now.

I would uninstall them and then redownload them from the Play Store. They may still think your phone is on GB and not accessing the data correctly.

Nah, it was the permission request for Google geolocation. Rebooting did the trick, though I'm a bit confused why it didn't come up in setup. All is well and balance was restored to the force.
