Gestures app

I currently use proximity actions - it has many options but it's lacking two very important actions triggered by gesture - accepting incoming voice call and closing apps - do you know any alternative?

Welcome to Android Forums.

What gestures are you referring to related to Incoming Call and Closing App?

Tasker will trigger on either of these but I don't understand how you want to relate it to a gesture.

There is a Tasker sub-forum to this forum.

Tasker could do it if it was just passing over the sensor. Multiple passes would be a challenge.

Sensor covered ...
Incoming call
yes answer it
no cancel current task

Yes - I should explain it in more detail - gestures like wave and proximity - no touch control - so I can accept call or kill an app witout touching the phone.

Within the proximity actions app, you can assign a gesture to a shortcut. Tasker tasks can be called as shortcuts.

So you can make a tasker task to answer the phone (take call) and link to it within prox actions as a shortcut.

Likewise you can make a tasker task to kill an app (I think it requires root) and call that from a prox actions gesture, via shortcut.

I don't know for sure, but probably could do the same using automate also.
