Apps Gestures in Dolphin browser, how does it work?

The gestures feature in Dolphin browser is extremely interesting, you can create your own gestures to do certain browser tasks like refresh or go to certain bookmarks.

I haven't seen another app that has this ability, does anyone know if Dolphin uses a library or is this gesture recognition completely built from scratch from them?

google created a Gesture Search app that lets you search your phone by forming letters on-screen. their's also a Music Mod that uses gestures for "skip," "pause," etc.

Interesting app, I didn't know that existed. But the big difference between Gesture Search and Dolphin's gestures is that Dolphin allows you to create your own gestures. Gesture search only allows alphanumeric characters.
