Get Android 1.x keyboard

I upgraded the android on my phone and now I have this awful 2.0 keyboard where I always miss the keys. please is there any way to get the. android.1. keyboard back? thanks

How about trying out other keyboards on the market and see which one fits you best? There are probably 50 or so keyboards out there already.

I tried many different.all the same i tend to miss the keys where on the 1.x keyboard i never did.does anybody know or maybe know a similar one? Thanks.

Any of these keyboards let you customize the key layout? I find there's keys I dont use (speech to text) and I'd love to replace it with something I do use... but so far, no lucking finding a keyboard that will let me.

I have no idea what the 1.x keyboard looks like as I've never seen it but I use the Gingerbread keyboard, which did have that speech to text button but it let me replace it with a comma key. Along with the traditional key layout, my bottom row of keys is Shift, comma, space, period, and enter. No problems with mine.

If you decide to try out this keyboard and can't figure out to get the layout I have, send me a message and I'll write up a quick step-by-step to get the layout. I think default includes that voice button and some other button that I turned off.
