seems when you upgrade to 2.3 you get the new update of google maps, this update doesnt allow maps tp be moved to sd, just go to manage applications. select google maps and click uninstall update it will roll g-maps back to before the last update thus making you able to send maps to sdcard and save 13mb internal memory,.

there doesnt seem to be any real differences in the 2 versions, i bike-nav-gps'd my way fishing yesterday no probs.,:D

Hi is it possible to move it with app2sd or do I need a different app. Currently on Froyo for your info

for froyo you can simply use the adb command to set sdcard as default storage EVERYTHING gets stored on sd from then on and all the apps u had previously the page with guide for command is at top of threads page:D:D:D

Does the phone have to be rooted to do that?

I have done the adb commands successfully but some apps are still on my phone and not moveable according to app2sd. I was under the impression that I could move EVERYTHING???

then sir it means you have done it wrong as my apps2sd says the only phone only apps i have are myworkclock and flashlight and that only because I put them there for widget use.

EVERYTHING YES,
EVERYTHING ALL OF
EVERYTHING ELSE IS ON MY SDCARD.

don't be confused, to move stock apps and remove ones like bejelweled you will need to root, this info is repeated in nearly every thread about moving apps to sd., thank you and goodnight.
