Help Get into recovery mode???

Need someone to tell me the way to get into recovery mode on an LG Optimus S. Can't figure it out

Ok I've figured out how to do it, It just wont go into recovery mode. Any suggestions?

You probally would have more luck in the optimus s section but what you do is from power off press and hold power home and volume down. Now if you dont have a custom recovery it will reset your phone back to stock and delete everything. If you do have a custom recovery it will boot into that

pwr + volume down + home release once lg pops up.

It should bring you to the stock recovery. or custom recover if u have one installed.

The guys above have the keystrokes right, but when I've used it, it was very difficult to hold those awkward keys properly. I kept trying until I got it to work, but it wasn't easy.
