Help Get rid of icons on home screen

I've just learned a trick on this. You guys may knew it thousands of years ago.
Same as Iphone, put your finger on it till it wiggle, keep you finger on it ,you can move it to a new position or put it into the delect icon(appear at the bottom of the screen) to delect it. By doing this, you can remove any icons that you don't want from the home screen.

Thank you for outlining that piece of very basic information for how to use the Android OS. Except I'll bet that by "wiggle" you mean "vibrate."
