getting back to mp3 player quickly

aprudy

Lurker
I have a Droid 2 and like it.
What I want to do is have my mp3 player running, do other things on the phone (easy enough) but be able to get back to the player without having to flip back to the appropriate home page and hit the icon... basically, it'd be great to have a way to very quickly see a list of running apps and move to one with one touch... say, drag the top bar down and click on an icon of a running app... or have an app running, actively, on one home screen so that I could just flip back to it from another screen where I was on the web, taking notes, or whatever.
It is totally possible that this is the easiest thing in the world and I just new enough - or haven't asked the right person yet - so that I haven't been shown how to do it.
Thanks

The player should be in your notifications bar (top bar that shows your signal strength, battery, etc.). No matter what you are doing (mostly), this should be visible. ust drag it down and tap the icon.

So, uh, basically, I described what DOES happen as something that'd be nice to have happen without checking to see if it did happen... I feel the fool. Thanks!:)

I've also seen some apps that let you stick shortcuts in the notification bar. (If you use a lot of different apps and looking at the last 8 isn't enough.)
