Help Getting contacts how I want them

RJJ5558

Lurker
New 4G owner. I have spent a long time getting all my contacts fixed on the phone to how I want them on my phone (or on other internet sites where these get placed)...I got rid of unneeded links and only have the information I want. Now, I would like to export these to all the places these end up, such as on t-mobile, gmail accts, SIM card, etc. I travel internationallly, and have to switch to another SIM card from a different provider, and would like to have the phone look just like it does at the time of the switch, WHEN I switch back to the t-mobile SIM card.

1. How do I make sure these are on the phone itself (versus on the SIM card)?
2. I would like to wipe out what is now stored on t-mobile and gmail sites, and then export what is on the phone back to those sites and then keep them synced to the phone...how do I do that?
3. I can find the contacts on gmail and can delete those, but cannot find them on t-mobile...where do these get stored?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you had started from scratch, I'd suggest fixing your contacts in Gmail instead of your phone. Then sync your phone with Gmail. Gmail also has an export feature for contacts, though I do not know if you can import that to your TMO address book.

I don't think you can export your contacts from phone and then import to Gmail.
