Help getting Facebook app to work on galaxy J1 ace

I'd like Facebook regular app (not the Lite version) to work on my J1 ace phone. I know that it's a budget phone and FB is not optimized to work on it. But do you guys know any way I could work around this? A root? A custom ROM? I'd do it whatever it takes

Don't think can work around it's only a very modest dual core 1.3GHz, with 512MB RAM. The full horribly bloated Fartbook app is just too much for the poor thing. Not sure if there is any really lightweight custom ROM for it.

Nah. You'd have to use the Facebook Lite app, or just the browser.

use Ghostery browser, that tamed FB for me in a hurry.

and it stops all of the adverts running on your phone, further lightening up the load.

if you make Ghostery the default browser, that will make the phone more efficient.
