Help Getting message not sent, but it did.

The last few days I occasionally will get a "unable to sent the message" error when sending an SMS even though I know it is sending because the recipient is replying. This message usually shows up the day after the message is sent.

It's not a big deal as long as I know the message is going through. I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting this.
 
I am using the stock message app and occasionally see the same behavior. Not sure if this has any relevance but I have seen this when I send a message to an iPhone with iMessage turned on.

I'm getting this message to people with Android phones. I have not sent a text message to any iPhone users.

I do get this more when I text my wife now that I think about it.
 
What kind of phone / messaging app is she using?

Are you using delivery receipt? It may be that the message is getting through but her phone doesn't let the network know that she got it, so the network thinks it failed, and notifies you.
 
She has an Incredible 2 with stock messaging app. I'll check to see if I have delivery receipt checked I didn't think so.
