Hi all!

I've got a couplebapps that have a very small following and being somewhat of a doomed app prepper, I suspect that the app will die. Its perfect where its at and I want to keep it.

Is there any way to find the apk on a device without root so I can transfer to any new devices in the future in case its taken down?

Thanks!
Boyo

First id email the dev to ask his intentions. To back it up without root you could check out thd Helium app

.apk's are stored in an area that you need root access in order to manipulate. Free apps are stored the /data/app folder. Paid apps are not there and are installed in a different way in order to prohibit piracy.

For an easy way, if its free, try an app like "apk extractor" n mail the app to yourself or something. All settings etc will be lost on restoration btw
