Help Getting my sdcard data to my PC

Hi all, little frustrated here and looking for some guidance.

Currently have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, unlocked and rooted, running Bugless Beast 09-17. I want to go back to stock and get the OTA JB update and go from there. Problem I am having is I cannot get the data off my phone, my sdcard data, which in my understanding will be wiped when I go back to stock. I have created my nandroid in case I want to go back to my current setup and have my titanium backup ready to go for the stock JB.

When plugged into my Win7 PC, device is detected and I can choose the files to backup, however, it can never make it through the blobs folder of clockworkmod without throwing an Error copying files or folders, handle is invalid message.

Things I have tried-
Rebooted PC, Rebooted Phone
Tried a different PC with Winxp, same problem
Copy files from Phone to PC over wifi, but that hung after about 2GB of transfer.
Android Commander - never gets going, just spins its wheels.

Thoughts, comments suggestions appreciated, thank you!

Found a solution,

set up android-sdk/run adb on the pc
select settings > developer options > usb debugging
connect device
type: adb pull /sdcard/

worked like a charm. =)
