getting nexus on the s3

the only thing stopping me from picking up a galaxy s3 is that i hate how it doesnt have the nexus interface! I love how the texting looks on the nexus over the s3's ugly traditional look. Is there any way i could get that interface on the s3?

If you root, there are complete AOSP ROMs for it. This will get you as close to a Nexus experience as possible.

As dreadnatty said, a ROM will give you the FULL Nexus ICS experience. Be sure to check the All Things Root section for your provider/SIII build, to see what ROMS are available for you. DO NOT try to use an Int'l ROM on a US variant. You may brick your phone.

If you just want a superficial look without rooting you can use Apex or Nova launcher from the Play store. The homescreen appearances will be stock ICS but everything else (keyboard, text app, etc) will still be touchwiz.
