Getting notifications

I only seem to receive texts on the gear, not emails.
This was a big reason for me buying it, as I regularly need to respond to emails asap.

Is there a setting that I have overlooked?

My note 3 gets my emails straight away, but even after waiting several minutes, still nothing on the gear.

I'm not too familiar with the N3 or gear, but I think you need to make sure that you have it set up to push the notifications to your gear via the gear manager app. Hope that helps.

Yep, you are correct. I just assume that because notifications were on, it sent all of them, but you actually have to go in and select which ones you want pushed to your gear.

Lucky you I get emails but no text messages all my text go to the log which is where all the phone calls are kept.

Could it be OFF in notifications, I know I wanted to disable email notifications when I was on vacation, so I went into the Galaxy Gear icon on the phone and Settings, Notifications. does that help any?
