Help Getting Places app/widget back

[mintxaddict]

How do I get the "places" app/widget which was installed on my phone when I got it back? I don't know what happened but my phone restarted and next thing I know that app/widget is gone on my apps menu. How can I get it back?

Its built into maps

Yesterday I was playing around with my home screens and I placed the Rate Places widget, but I removed it while I was reorganizing everything on the screens, when I went to put it back, the widget is no longer in the list of available widgets.

I have tried reinstalling and updating the Maps app with no luck. The Places icon and functions all work just fine, but the widget has disappeared. Anyone know why? Or how to get it back? Thanks

I've also lost mine! When did it get built into Maps? It would have been nice if "they" had told us "they" were going to take the Places icon away, don't you think?
