Getting rid of Verizon Navigator prompt

How do I get rid of this every time I want to use navigation?

I already checked "every time" rather than "just once" but the damn thing keeps asking me.

Is there a way to get the Google maps navigation to be the permanent default?

TIA

I believe the Verizon bloatware causes this. Look for DarkAngels thoughts on the matter and there was a possible solution.

Did you try to disable the verizon navigation app

This is the answer. It was discussed at length in the "pet peeves" thread. You have to go into settings, applications, and select Verizon Navigator and then disable it. Once you do that, it shouldn't ever ask you the question again. Stupid that you have to do it, but at least there's a solution.

Thanks

I believe that did it.

Vz bloatware is such intense BS. They expect us to pay big bucks for the unit, $30+/month and they still won't leave us alone.

If they didn't have such a great network I'd love to tell them to shove it.

That should do it for you. Problem I had was I 'hid' it from the app drawer thinking that would do it. Then when I first realized I didn't actually 'disable' it I was like DUH! lol

Since then, not a peep from ****ing VZW Nav
