Help Getting rids of large bookmark icons

On my Eris, the browser's bookmarks are these large squarish icons of which only a few show on the screen at once. I can't seem to find a way to make them into a simple text list. How?

A bigger question: is there a better browser? Some of the apps I am using seem less clunky. With Android being a Google product, I had thought maybe the browser might be streamlined like Chrome -

Maybe someone would point me to a good browser discussion?

Thanks. This forum seems very good to a newbie - I will say that a majority of users seem technically way ahead of me however. Good place to learn...

My favorite browser has long been Dolphin HD, but part of that is that it supports a plug-in for LastPass, so user id/password combos can be automatically entered. That said, it is much faster than the stock browser.

I'm not sure about bookmarks - I never use them myself.

Thanks! It's downloading right now.
Description looks good... I'm wondering if it will let me attach files to gmail messages? If not, how else can I do that?

WOW. In 5 minutes of fooling with Dolphin I am truly amazed at all the features in that app - that is, the ones I found in only 5 min. My so-called smartphone just got a WHOLE lot smarter!

Thanks for a great tip.
