Help Getting the Moto default sound randomly

The notification tone rings frequently, but doesn't seem related to app of function I can find. Rings once, at least every couple of minutes now.

I normally have "priority only" set for my calls, and I haven't intentionally asked for sound notification for anything (not texts, emails, FB, nothing). But this maddening sound rings frequently now. How do I get it to stop?!?

have you rebooted the phone? maybe try putting the phone in safe mode and see if it still happens.
