Help getting this phone in a couple of days

so whats the basic things i should know ?
ive been reading about and it seems to turn on 3G , how to i never make that happen?

3g doesn't turn on unless i turn it on but to make sure after the phone is booted up pull down the notification bar at top and press the top right button which gives you the options for mobile internet and then select disable.

Other than that download launcher pro or zeam launcher (and the home switcher to switch it) all from the app market and it will speed it up some.

By 3G, do you mean data? You could go into the APN settings and add ".disabled" at the end of sp.telus.com or install APNdroid from the market.

ya 3g is the data plan
