GF's phone will crash immediately, and constantly reboot...help?

GF's Motorola Droid (stock, unrooted) will crash if you try to do anything. Even unlocking the phone will cause a crash and reboot.

Also, it will only run at all on AC power.

I also can't boot into recovery mode. I've tried holding X and then holding the power key...nothing.

Any ideas?
