Gift to Grankids-how to reset?

I'm giving my 7" tablet to my grandchild. How do I reset it so all the passwords are gone? Same thing for the apps? Does a factory reset do this and if so how do I do it?

I see the "Backup & Reset". Under "Personal Data" I see something called "Factory data reset" which erases all data on the tablet. Does this get rid of any passwords that I may have used which was on the device?? Does it get rid of any apps I downloaded to the device??

Yes it does. Thats why its called a Factory Reset as in it resets it to how it came out the factory, fresh out the box
