Help Gingerbread 2.3.2 problem

Lurker
The installatin of the beta version went very smooth Installing Android 2.3.2 on Samsung Galaxy S [Guide]
The whole week I did not notice any single problem. Today I decided to use the phone as a mobile AP for my laptop, but did not find the appropriate command in Wireless and network settings. In Froyo, there was Mobile AP option, which simply missing in Gingerbread. I believe there should be some workaround, but can't find it anywhere. Any hints, please ?

Yes it beta as final release is not yet until it later this month hopefully by end of March so keep yer eyes peel open in 24/7

Yeah, I have the Swype issues (doesn't work at all) with my Gingerbread beta on my Galaxy. Let's wait for the official release...

Just wait. Official version is coming out on the 20th March.

Gingerbread is coming

Where did you see the official SAMSUNG announcement of this update on the 20th, or are you just speculating and causing another rise in hopes?

If just speculation, don't waste everyones time.

Thanks to all ! I must clarify. When the official version will be available, I will be the first in the line to update. My question was different. Contrary to e.g. Swype, which does not work in the Beta version, mobile AP is missing. I don't think it is a problem with Beta. I suspect Gingerbread in general has some workaround for activating mobile AP. Probably, I should have asked this question in the Nexus S thread ? Does anybody know of how to use any Android 2.3 smartphone as mobile AP (step-by-step activation) ?

I don't think you still yet understand the term beta.
Of course it will have mobile AP. Just wait, please. If you can't just go back to 2.2.1 froyo.

I was just wondering whether the stock 2.3 firmware (e.g. that one on Nexus S) does have explicit mobile AP ?

Just wait, please. If you can't just go back to 2.2.1 froyo.
Does anybody know step by step procedure ? Will it be official version ?
