Gingerbread 2.3.4 for the Galaxy S?

According to the link below, Gingerbread 2.3.4 will also come out for the Galaxy S (1). Anybody an ETA on this?

No! This is Samsung you are talking about, they out secret everyone except Apple apparently cos Apple can see that the SGS is a copy of the iphone........
