Gingerbread 2.3.6 problems?

Hello, i have been facing problems whereby the games i installed is in white and black when i play games on my samsung galaxy ace s5830i gingerbread 2.3.6. In some cases the screen is just completely white. Although in both scenario, i am still able to hear of buttons being pushed in the game. My question is, i heard that the problem is due to the android version 2.3.6.That it causes graphical glitches. Is this true? Could someone tell me the problems of 2.3.6. Or perhaps a good alternative. I was thinking 2.3.7. But i would like to know the pros and cons.
Any help would be much appreciated.

dunno, I have 2.3.6 but I havent face any of those problems. Don't know about S5830i but I don't think that there's official 2.3.7 version for Ace S5830.

Don't know about the Ace. But in general, 2.3.6 is pretty much problem free.
And I didn't know there was a 2.3.7.

There is no official 2.3.7 for Ace, but i think the official CM is built on 2.3.7.

You should better take it to the service center.
