Root Gingerbread and Z4 root?

Sup guys...
I got the gingerbread the other day and I had the Z4root installed. So before I downloaded the update I flashed back to stock. Now that I have Gingerbread installed it wont let me install the z4root... any ideas or solutions to get back to being rooted? Any info will help, thanks.

There are other ways to root your phone, but they are all wicked confusing. I think we will just have to wait a few days for them to update their rooting junk and update the app.

z4root does not work on any gingerbread releases. Gingerbreak ( a gingerbread rooting method) only worked for the .588 and I believe .591 Gingerbread releases. If you downloaded and flashed gingerbread from the link fatpomp provided and you followed method 2 and flashed the two files you are good to go. That is rooted and comes with the updated baseband (.12P).
