I followed the instructions after reading everything I could find and installed 2.3.1 on my HD2. Seems to work well so far. I have had to reinstall all my apps one at a time, but other than that, no issues.

Will let you all know if anything gives me problems if you guys are interested.
 
How did you install your android?
Can you share your process/steps?
Mine doesnt work...I dont know what I did and where I messed up...

I also have an issue where my HTC HD2 buttons/keys at the bottom would start flashing...i dont know why

You ever seen anything like this before?
 
I downloaded this ROM-->MDJ_gINGERbREAD_hd2_V.1.0_RC4_RAM_MODDED
moved it to SDCard, moved the data.img file...to some folder i dont remember and click on CLRCAD & HARET.exe....
what id the difference between How I am doing vs how Talderon is doing it ( the URL that you posted here)
?
 
IDK how yours is diff except that you don't know the destination of the file on the SD card. Just do a factory reset and follow Talderon's guide. I had to do it twice. I must have jacked something up the first time.
 
so that means i will lose all my apps and my stuff right...
man this sucks...i like android !
everything works OK....just the non-functional GPS and those flashing backlights of the bottom keys/buttons....there has got to be a way to fix these 2 issues.
