Help Gingerbread XXLA4

hi, i bought my galaxy ace s5830i just few days ago ..n its supa cool..ya obv. lets not talk abt the btry backup..(sucks) i am almost trying evrything (black wallpaper, screen timeout, birghtness to 20%, blah blah) today i just got a software update from samsung and it was GIngerbread XXLA4. i started googling abt it and found tht early this update was specially for the galaxy note for build more speed in the phone and solution to the poor battry backup..now i am confused will this help and support my phone too? coz i hv updated now its took abt 6 mb update..and do anyone knw abt the benefits of XXLA4 Updates???

Not sure about this one as the s5830I is a slightly different model than the normal ace, so the chances are the updates are different. Might be worth seeing if anyone out there in this or other forums may know as I think it will be specific to your model.
