Root Gingerbread!

[BrecherRecher]

Okay I cant find a dang thing! When will the Droid 2 be able to get Android 2.3.3? That would make my year!!

haha, just kidding

I heard 2/29/11

We wont get it anytime soon. If it came this month I would be shocked.

I can state with almost unreserved near certainty that it will be sooner rather than later. As long as sooner = sometime and later = never.

Seriously though, I'm interested to know also. I'm currently debating waiting for Gingerbread or loading a custom Froyo-based ROM.

[Super_Six_Two]

Load a rom, you will still be able to get gingerbread if it ever comes out.

That's the direction I'm leaning.

Sorry to the OP, didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Ah ha! Its not leap year. You almost had us fooled.

It'll certainly throw a monkey wrench in ROM world. I've been using Fission, Fusion, and Liberty in the past month ... slowly but surely I've settled on Liberty. But I didn't mind stock at all.

lol

What about Peter Alfonso's Gingerbread ROM? Where can you get it?
