Hi I wanted to root my phone with this new APk called gingerbreak supposed to do every
Thing for u wanted to know if it will work for the LG optimus here's more info

I think I read in the Optimus S forum that it worked, but havent heard anything yet about the V

So this will work on the OV like z4root works on other phones? No need to use adb? Just curious for future reference.
Edit I can verify it will root and unroot your phone.

All i really want to do is uninstall the crapware that comes on my phone. Would rooting let me be able to get rid of the unwanted preloaded apps?

NM, I figgered it out (used Titanium backup).
