Glad I got the 16GB

I've been burned on devices with no option for adding storage in the past so decided to go with the max, 16GB. Soooo glad I did. Going to use Sygic Nav and downloading a handful of states in the US is already over 800MB. Can't use it for offline nav if you don't have them.

May have to look at other alternatives. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had posted in another thread about how when i get mine (delivered this morning), i was going to experiment with using NFC or WiFi direct with my cell phone to use it as a portable hard drive (i will have a 64gb card in it next week).

You could always get a usb adapter and plug in a micro usb reader and get an extra 32 gigs at a very small size. Or when possible you can store none vital files on google drive.

I take that back. I was originally misinformed. The nexus does not support usb storage devices

It can be done, but you must be rooted to do it.

I have a feeling this may be enabled (stock) in a future update. But yes with a simple root it will work and I use it on my Galaxy Nexus quite often.

Android Beam works really well. Just put the two devices together back to back and tap the screen of the device you want to share from. It works really well. You couldn't stream a movie like that but you could transfer one across in no time. Very cool.

I think I have just been enlightened almost like when I read the bible for the first time (read the bible only once and was not that excited about it to tell ya the truth) BUT OMG IT HAS ITS OWN BATTERY. OMG I WANT IT.

I think I might be getting one of those too looks pretty nice and very well thought of - the only thing I want to know is if I can tether the phone and be connected to the drive at the same time.
