glitch in transformer movie??

So I played the movie 2 to 3 times with girlfriend and it was great. Although later on, it started to glitch and movie would stop sometimes to load. I don't know what to do. Is this movie playing on wifi? Is there some way to download the free transformer movie offline?

Or is this because I have too many things open in the background? How do I close other apps? In my Samsung infuse, there is an option to close apps using the "Task Manager". Is there something similar like this function on the Nexus 7?

There a couple things I can think of to try.

Go to settings > apps > all and select Google Play Movies. Try clearing the cache.

You can also try settings > developer options > and check the box for Force GPU Rendering. I've seen people saying that helps with movies. I've also seen some say some apps don't like that setting so if you have an app problem just uncheck it.

I believe the movie is streaming, so maybe it was just a temp problem due to that.

Alright, no worries. Yeah I figured the wifi might be different at my girlfriends house compared to my house. Thank you for letting me know about those other functions. I will try out!

I downloaded a copy to my N7 by clicking on the little tack in the lower right hand corner of the movie in Google Play. Then I realized it was like 3 gig and took up half of all my storage.

Oh damn I didn't know that you can just download it from google play. Thank you for letting me know that this pretty much takes up A LOT of space. Wow! Should have bought the 16 gb LOL.

I wonder if Google's mega-servers might be feeling it a little from everyone with a new Nexus 7 trying the movie out?
I haven't saved it to my Nexus 7 yet. It's played great both times I played it but I haven't run it through yet.
