Hi,
I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Apollo and my global SIM card only works occasionally, less than 1% of the time.
The SIM contract I have allows me to receive calls without getting roaming charges when I am in other countries.
Way it works.
e.g.
1. I connect to any network say Vodafone
2. Dial 121 for the voicemail, dial
3. It changes the number dialed and sends this down the line and disconnects the line.
4. I then receive a message saying do I want to connect to the call, select OK.
5. Accept the call.
At the moment I get to 3. but I don't receive the connect message.
I have transferred the SIM into a non-android phone and it works perfectly.
The issue is that when I go into the mobile shop, after about 15 minutes of selecting lots of settings, it just clicks in and works. However, last time I went in they just couldn't get it to work.
Any ideas would be most grateful.
