Glue Slider Keyboard On Samsung Epic 4G?

Hey guys. I have the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G and while I do like the phone I hate the slider feature. The slight wobbling as I hold it during calls drives me nuts. Is there a way to stop/lock it? Has anyone glued it?

Wobble? I'm wondering if maybe you have a defective keyboard. I've had mine for a couple months now and its pretty solid. I'm not sure why you would want to glue it unless you plan on never using it again. I've tried out a lot of different slider keyboards and as upset as I am with Sprint and Samsung about other features that are not working I give them props for the quality of the keyboard.

Not sure how long you've had yours but maybe trade it in, replace it or upgrade to the Touch. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a smatass but I just wanted to give you some input since no one has answered your question. Just sounds like yous might be loose or something.

I thought I seen a rubber case that encompasses the entire phone. Would stop/reduce the wobble without completely junking your phone. Obviously would make keyboard inaccessible. But if you're contemplating glue, this is not a problem. Check ebay/amazon... Just a thought!?!

I would take it up to the Sprint repair store... it shouldn't wobble that much... while it DOES slightly after use and "loosen" it up, it shouldn't wobble to the point of annoying you. I have used the Sprint rubber case, and tried the Otterbox commuter and no cover is really going to help with the wobbling, as the case has nothing to do with the sliding. They can try to fix or tighten it at the repair store. When I had an issue with my screen, they were actually able to replace my screen on the spot. good luck!

PS - DO NOT GLUE YOUR PHONE!!
